The Eggbutt cheekpiece to be the most simple and common. The rings do not move up and down, resulting in a more stable position in the mouth and more direct rein aids. The lips don’t get pinched by this cheekpiece, so bit rings are not necessary.

The Slow Twist mouthpiece is single-jointed with twisted iron on both sides. Because of the twist, this mouthpiece has a sharper edge and therefore a sharper effect on the layers than a normal single-jointed mouthpiece. This mouthpiece is not suitable for sensitive horses or inexperienced riders
